After three years of struggle, the construction work on the road of Rajhana Panchayat done and now and the local residents are enjoying the happy steps!

Local residents of Rajhana Panchayat took a sigh of relief after their long struggle for the patch of road ended. First they ignored and then blamed the rainy season! Shimla MC gave all the possible excuses when Himachal Watcher approached them with the complaints of the villagers. Last year in July, the local residents of Rajhana Panchayat sent us some videos and pictures and told us the bad condition of the road in their area. As soon as we received the mails, we knocked the doors of the MC.

Three months passed and nothing constructive was done. Then we again approached them and we received a letter from MC which stated that due to rains the work was put on hold. Till then the local residents lost their patience and they decided to construct the road themselves. For that they pooled in some money from their pocket. We at Himachal Watcher repeatedly covered the story and kept the follow up of the issue. After our repeated pressure on the MC, the construction work started. Finally, now the road construction work is done and the villagers are enjoying the happy steps!
