Himachal Watcher is Himachal Pradesh’s longest-running online English magazine. It is one of the few digital media platforms in the country which is non-funded and completely independent.

Our journey began with a Facebook Page in 2010 named ‘Unruly Rebel’ through which we aimed to highlight public grievances concerning basic issues in the state of Himachal Pradesh. As we garnered more support from the public we transformed into Himachal Watcher in May 2011, taking the shape of an online magazine since then.

The mission behind Himachal Watcher is to re-establish the values and principles of the press, uphold the right to freedom of speech and expression as well as help in creating an aware democratic society.
