20 Swine Flu deaths in Himachal, still Govt. says ‘don’t panic’

SHIMLA- Amidst Govt.’s false claims of preparation to combat Swin Flue, 20 deaths have been reported in the state, while 79 patients are still admitted in different hospitals of the state. Two deaths were reported on Monday from Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC) hospital Shimla. This has raised the toll to 20. Still, Kaul Singh said, “no need to panic”. Of the total deaths, the highest number was seven in Shimla followed by six in Kangra district. Districts of Bilaspur, Chamba and Kullu have seen one death each while three have occurred in Solan. No deaths have been reported from snow-covered districts of Kinnaur and Lahaul-Spiti .Fifty patients who were admitted at the government hospitals have been discharged. In all, 302 samples were tested of which 79 were confirmed as positive.The Govt. is still careless to handle the alarming situation in the state. ~ ENS/Inputs
