Himachal freezes after fresh snowfall

SHIMLA- Cold conditions intensified across Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday after a fresh spell of rain and snow. The cold wave would continue as more rain and snow has been predicted in the state till February 2 as western disturbance would become active from January 29. Snowfall was recorded in Manali and surrounding areas as well as in Lahaul-Spiti, Kinnaur and Chamba districts. Shimla recorded a minimum temperature of 1.7-degrees celsius and a maximum temperature of 7.2-degrees celsius, Manali had a minimum temperature of minus 1.6 degrees celsius and a maximum temperature of 2.6-degrees celsius. ~ TNN
