Himachal swine flu toll reaches 15

SHIMLA- Three more cases of swine flu were reported in Himachal Pradesh today raising the number of those affected by H1N1 virus to 15, a Health Department official said. Two new cases of H1N1 virus were reported at Dr Rajendra Prasad Medical College and Hospital at Tanda town in Kangra while one case was reported from Una, State Surveillance Officer Rajesh Guleri said. One patient from Solan and another from a village near Palampur died at IGMC Hospital in Shimla and Tanda Medical College, Kangra. So far 55 blood samples of patients with suspected swine flu symptoms have been tested and 15 out of them tested positive. ~ PTI
