Why HP Government need to hire better, aware, and responsible people
At new ISBT Shimla, daily, hundreds of disposable glasses and other waste are thrown down the main road to the link road, mostly in a pit where it’s set on fire. The garbage is thrown by a government office and tea-stalls. The pit is located right in front of the gate of the office of ‘Mukhya Karyakari Adhikari’ under BUS STAND MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (hardly 5 feet across street). The government vehicles are parked right besides the pit. Surprisingly, no government officers or employees ever bothered to notice it, and aren’t even concerned about it. We expect government to recruit responsible, educated, and aware citizens for government offices. India do not need such officials who can’t report environmentally hazardous practice such as burning garbage in open right in front of their office gates. There is no point in expecting a common man to stop littering. It’s stupid to expect such educated illiterates to manage and develop the ISBT or anything.
