HP High Court Android app launched for instant information dissemination
SHIMLA- Himachal Pradesh High Court today launched Android based mobile application to disseminate information about court cases here. Chief Justice of High Court of Himachal Pradesh Justice Mansoor Ahmad Mir, Justices Rajiv Sharma, Dharam Chand Chaudhary, Tarlok Singh Chauhan, P S Rana and Sureshwar Thakur attended a ceremony held in the Judges Lounge of High Court. Apps was inaugurated by Justice Mir. The App would disseminate information relating to cases filed in the High Court. By using it, user can search cases based on case number, party’s and advocates’ name. Orders/Judgments can also be downloaded by the use of this App.
There is also a unique feature of saving in the App. at user’s discretion, the details of the successfully searched case (s). This App. also has a very invaluable feature of case based automatic alerts like next date of hearing, which shall be generated in respect of the cases saved on the App. The user should have the freedom to delete any case wrongly saved in the App by using the delete icon (x mark), which would be prefixed to each saved case.
The cause list (s) and the Digital Display Boards of the High Court of HP can also be accessed by the use of this App. This App. could be downloaded from the Google’s Play Store and one link to Google’s Play Store would also be available on the Web Site of the High Court of H.P. which can also be used to download the App. The targetted users for this App. are Advocates, Litigants and Citizens. This App. would be immensely useful to the Advocates and Litigants.
The mobile App. is the outcome of the concerted and co-ordinated efforts of the State N.I.C. Centre, HP High Court NIC. unit and the Computer Branch of the High Court of HP Chief Justice has applauded the role played by them in developing the App. Chief Justice has also said that this mobile App. would be of utmost help to the Advocates as well as to the litigant public.
