Exams stress: A girl tries chopping both hands, dies
Dhone (Andhra Pradesh): In a tragic incident, 18-year-old B. Yamini, a senior Intermediate student, tried chopping both her hands by placing them under a moving train to avoid writing her exams at Dhone in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. However, she died in the process.
Sources said, Yamini of Kothapeta area in Dhone, was a student at Sri Venkateswara Private Junior College. She had developed a phobia of examinations. Her phobia forced her to take the extreme step. On Friday, she went to the railway track near the Srirama temple area and tried placing both her hands under a moving train. People who noticed her, immediately called the 108 ambulance service and contacted her parents. The girl was rushed to the Kurnool General Hospital, but she died on the way.
