Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Yunus Khan while briefing the Chief Minister said that all families were provided ration for two months besides mattresses and utensils and other basic daily needs items.

The Chief Minister assured early rehabilitation of the fire victims.

Fire in the village on Friday had gutted eight houses leaving 22 families homeless.  Each family was to be given immediate relief of Rs 10,000 each, besides ration, utensils, bedding and tarpaulin. The district administration had faced cash-crunch to provide immediate relief to the victims due to demonetisation, hence,  it had to borrow money from traders.
