IIT-Mandi campus ready to rock, just 2 days left for annual Cultural-cum-Technical fest ‘Exodia 2k17’
SHIMLA- The Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, is all set to celebrate its three-day annual cultural-cum- technical event – Exodia 2k17 starting from April 7. The organizing team has shared some highlights of the campus fest with Himachal Watcher. Considering the versatility of events, contests, and special performances, we must say, this campus fest could be one of the best in North India. Along with marry making, the nature of activities has a definite purpose of encouraging practical implementation of technical education.

The contests basically include everything from creating machines/robots, programming, fashion, music, painting, literature, dance, technical workshops, to photography. It’s a digital age so there is going to be contests based on Internet of Things (IoT), which is indeed, the future of the modernization. A workshop on ethical hacking and information security is also the part of this year’s fest. The event didn’t miss another important field -sustainable development. There is an event titled “Effective Solution for Sustainable Development”.
The organizers have made a final call for entries into various contests. The students have provided complete details of all events along with amounts of award money in each category on their wonderful website “Exodia”.
With an entry fee of Rs. 1,200 contestants can register through event’s official website. The students have active presence on social media and blogs too.
The management team behind the fest has gathered sufficient support from various media partners. As expected, most of these partners/sponsors are affiliated in business related to education,student life and educational activities. Some of these offer courses and others claim to facilitate internship/apprenticeship for freshers.
