HPPSC mobile app launched, candidates to receive notification alerts about exams, results, vacancies etc.
SHIMLA- Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission’s (HPPSC) mobile app is now available for download. The Andorid app was recently launched with an aim to keep candidates and employees updated. The mobile app will help the youth of the State particularly those residing in the far-flung areas, says KS Tomar the Chairman of the Commission.
HPPSC mobile app is developed by HP National Informatics Centre (NIC), and will benefit the State Government employees and aspiring candidates, claimed the Chairman. Exam candidates will get alerts in real time on every notification issued by the Commission regarding advertisements, vacancies, exams, results, answer keys, application etc. The app would specially benefit the candidates of rural candidates in keeping update with the advertisements, vacancies and submitting their applications on time, insisted the Chairman.
A couple of weeks ago, the Chairman had informed about approval of Rs. 5.2 crore e-governance project under which online HPPSC exams will be made a reality. In other words, the HPPSC will go paperless within next three years, if the announced deadline to be believed. HPPSC candidates will get online services like online study material while the disposal of departmental promotions committees cases will also speed up. Database centres will also be established along with use of cloud technology.
