HP Polls 2017: Final list of 349 candidates after end of withdrawal date

Dharamsala reported the maximum number of candidates at 12, followed by 10 in Karsog (SC), nine in Jaswan- Pragpur and Sarkaghat and eight each in Fatehpur and Palampur.

Shimla: On the last date for withdrawal of nominations for the November 9 Assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh today, as many as 43 candidates withdrew their nominations.

Now including the rejected nominations, total 349 candidates are left in fray to contest at the 68 assembly seats. The Congress and BJP will be contesting at all the 68 seats while the CPI(M) is contesting 16 seats.

BJP’s Rattan Singh Pal will face the Chief minister Virbhadra Singh in the Arki constituency. Prem Kumar Dhumal is contesting from Sujanpur against Rajinder Rana of Congress.
