HP EC publishes voters’ list, total 49, 05,677 voters registered with 1.62% increase

Shimla: The Himachal Pradesh Elections Commission has completed the special revision of photo electoral rolls in all Assembly constituencies of the Himachal Pradesh. The voter lists were published on September 15, 2017, informed Chief Electoral Officer, Himachal Pradesh, Pushpendra Rajput.
After special revision, 1, 25,556 new voters are registered. Out of the total, 40,567 voters are in the age group of 18-19 years and 84,989 voters are above 19 years of age. The names of 47,523 voters were deleted from voters list due to death or change of place or double registration.
There is an increase of 78,033 voters (1.62%) in the state. Now there are 49, 05,677 registered voters in the state out of which 24, 98,174 are male and 24, 07,503 female.

The electoral rolls of all Assembly segments are available on the HP Election Department’s official website. The rolls are also available in District Election Offices, offices of SDM, ADM, Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildar and Booth Level Officers of every polling center. Any voter can verify them free of cost.
